Planning the perfect wedding reception.  What type of person are you?  Deciding what type of reception you want will make the process of planning the wedding reception right down to the wedding reception decorations that much easier. 

How formal is your wedding ceremony?  Your wedding reception should complement the wedding ceremony.  If you're wedding ceremony is on the traditional side, you would probably prefer your reception held at a formal reception site such as a hotel, banquet facility, or restaurant.  If you do choose to have your reception in a formal reception site, be sure to designate a gift attendant to stay near your gift table.  Unfortunately, we do need to be very aware of who is nearby as we celebrate our marriage.  The wedding reception card box is loaded with cards and gifts from your family and friends and is a very easy target for an unsavory thief happening by.

If your wedding ceremony was more free-spirited and laid back, then possibly you prefer to have a garden reception in your parent's back yard or a picnic type reception in the local park.
